The Voice auditions to be held in Colchester

Were you born to sing? Talent scouts for the BBC’s The Voice UK will be visiting a Colchester pub on Wednesday 20th May 2015.

Singers who are hoping to catch their big break can perform for scouts in at the Bull, on Crouch Street, between 4pm and 7pm.

From 9pm there will be a second opportunity to express the scouts during the pub’s open mic event.

Landlord Dave Richards said: “The scouts are coming down to meet people, have a listen and then see if they are the right kind of person to go forward to the auditions.

“It is an opportunity for the people of Colchester to have a shot at it.”

Series Five of The Voice will be aired next year.

If you would like to take part, either show up on the day or email Joe.Deen@walltowall.co.uk in advance to book a meet-and-greet time slot.

To apply for the show, go to bbc.co.uk/thevoiceuk. Contestants must be 16 or over by 17th June 2015 and have the right to live and work in the UK. Under 18s must bring a parent or guardian.
